What do we use YouTube for? To watch numerous videos on different subjects, of course. But will the most popular video platform always be restricted to videos only? Won’t they use the audio medium ever to reach their subscribers? Well, YouTube Podcasts are already launched. Without any official announcement, the podcast on YouTube went live in July.

The Beginning 

The company indicated serious about starting a podcast platform earlier this year and was planning to invest in a podcast to bring a good amount of ad revenue. The YouTube podcasts are very popular, launching the feature in late July only. It is already the most-used platform in the world of podcasts, without even being rolled out worldwide.

Where and how the Podcast page is accessible

The new YouTube feature is available in their main page’s explore section. Along with destinations like news, gaming, music, trending, and movies, the podcast on YouTube section is also visible. Apart from the explore page in the app or the browser, one can find it at youtube.com/podcasts. But the dedicated podcast page on YouTube is currently available for US users only, and the podcast URL of YouTube is yet to be accessible globally. Still, it is challenging for other podcast platforms like Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
