Mark Zuckerberg is an American billionaire, internet entrepreneur, Philanthropist. He is well known as the Co-founder and CEO of Facebook, social media website, and its parent company Meta. A self-made man, 37-year-old Zuckerberg is happily married to Priscilla Chan and has two daughters, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg, aged six years, and August Chan Zuckerberg, aged four years.

Where did Mark Zuckerberg go to school?

Zuckerberg was born in 1984 and was brought up in a well-educated family. He went to Ardsley High School in New York and later joined an elite preparatory school in Hampshire, the Philips Exeter Academy, from where he graduated in 2002. Zuckerberg enrolled himself in Harvard University but dropped out in between to concentrate on his Facebook project. When Mark Zuckerberg was in school, he developed a keen interest in programming at a young age. He was twelve years old when he developed a messaging program called Zucknet. His father's dental chamber used this program to internally communicate with the office employees. 

Mark Zuckerberg's education was finally completed when he re-enrolled at Harvard University in January 2014 and received his honorary degree in 2017.

Zuckerberg is famous as the creator of Facebook, which he launched in February 2004. Initially, his friends used the template for putting up information and photos. The initial success of Facebook was its first infusion of venture capital funds in May 2005 for an amount of $12.7 million. Soon he became the owner of Facebook, and the network expanded where anyone could sign up on this website with a valid email id and connect with others. Mark stopped going to Harvard University as he became president and Facebook CEO.       

In 2007, Microsoft took a stake of 1.6% in Facebook with equity funding of $240 million. Digital Sky Technology followed it up with a $200 million infusion for a 1.96% stake.

In 2008, Zuckerberg's net worth was $ 1.5 billion, which zoomed to $ 19 billion in 2012 after Facebook IPO. His net worth as of January 2020 was estimated at $78 billion. Mark Zuckerberg is a member of The Giving Pledge and promised to donate half of his net worth to philanthropic and social causes during his lifetime.

Priscilla Zuckerberg is a pediatrician, Co-founder of Facebook, and Philanthropist. Born in 1985 in Massachusetts, her age is 36 years. She is the mother of two lovely daughters, Maxima Zuckerberg and August Chan Zuckerberg. Priscilla was always grounded even when she fell in love with Mark and continued a happy married life as a billionaire. As a Philanthropist, she encourages Mark to promote organ donation.
